The Crew

Rachel is the artist behind all of the greeting cards. She practiced as a pediatric speech-language pathologist for 6 years before transitioning into various non-profit work and then to focusing on her artwork. She enjoys doing 5 minute portraits of people and pets for events all over the city of Pittsburgh, tandem biking with her husband, video gaming, and enjoying good food at local hangout spots with friends and family.

Bushi is the oldest of the Mildly Momentous kitties. He is a very smart and very playful Bengal boy. Bushi loves cuddling, talking, when meals are not even a minute late, giving kisses, and playing cat and mouse with Lil' Nug. He also loves slamming doors shut. He is freakishly strong and will death grip anything near him to avoid getting put into a carrier for the vet.

Wendy was dumped as a kitten in a traffic median near our neighborhood Arby's. Her name was decided once we realized she was a girl and couldn't go by "Arby." Wendy loves back-and-forth conversations, wand toys, getting the zoomies, and dragging herself along the bottoms of furniture. She also loves getting pets and claiming fresh laundry.

Penny is a shy little girl who was unwanted in her first home; she quickly fit in with our kitties, and it didn't take long for her personality to grow. Penny loves nose rubs, randomly screaming in different parts of the house, spending all day in the catio, and rolling back and forth in the sun. She absolutely hates getting brushed but sometimes lets it slide if she is in the middle of eating.

My"Mew"ses

Lil' Nug is the youngest and most social of all the kitties. She will immediately make friends with anyone. She loves literally everything - being held and cuddled like a baby, being tucked in with us at bed time, and getting any kind of attention or pets (even on her belly). She is passionate about treats, playtime, and trying to crawl inside the fridge.

Mildly Momentous is a greeting card company that wants to help bring you closer to friends and family by celebrating even the smallest (but still important) triumphs, challenges, and mundane moments in life.

What types of cards do you offer?

At the moment, we have some apology, encouragement, and emotional support cards available for various life events. We will continue to release cards as they are completed. New cards will be posted here and on our Instagram page @mildlymomentous, so you can follow our releases!

How can I place an order?

You can place an order with us through checking out items in our online store.

Do you offer customization options?

We are a new company and at the moment are working on stocking our inventory with our own set of ideas. However, custom cards may be a possibility a bit further down the line.

How long does shipping take?

Please allow up to 7 business days for shipping. It likely won't take that long, but it will be dependent on where you are located. At this time, we do not sell our cards internationally.
